Finally, I have made the move from Hawaii to Washington State, found a place to put all my worldly crap, got the kid enrolled in a institution of learning, spent weeks painting and modifying said place of domestic tranqility to the taste and satisfaction of the better half and (drum roll please) connected the cable modem to the computer. All said, I have been busier than a one legged man at an ass kicking contest so my blog has had to suffer. I spent a month or so on the lam in hawaii without any real internet connection followed by a month or so of having to take care of the mirad of details that go with getting a home resettled. But for the most part its been enriching for the soul and really hard on the bank account. I am reporting for my final sea tour and now starting to get ready for move out into the regular working world. I haven't been able to sit down to a newspaper or keep up on the news of the world to speak of. I hope some of the readers I had before will return for more opinon. I did the Blogger upgrade and find that it might be a bit more user friendly. Sorry that I had Comments moderated. That's fixed. You will now be able to post comments and they actually appear.
