Well once again I am going to make take a stab at blogging. I have spent several months enjoying to efforts of others but not putting my thoughts out for others to share. Several blogs I read on a daily or weekly basis have atrophied and died. I think this is due to the shift to the current 500 lb gorilla of the internet and that is Facebook. Been there, not too impressed. I enjoy spouting my opinion behind a nome de plume. People can still feel butt hurt if they don't agree but it won't trail back to my occupation, church or other day to day activity. Facebook to me smacks of high school. More thoughts on that later.
For now. I am trying to get back to writing, I don't know how long the muse will stick. Probably until the next crisis here at home or until the better half finds something better she wants done with the time.

You're right on the money. I started my blog before Facebook. I used to use my blog to keep family and friends up to date on our adventures, but then Facebook sort of took over that role. Between that and long work hours (getting ready to go back to sea duty), I just don't have much time to blog lately. I've been wrestling with whether or not I should continue blogging during my next tour.
